They are funded by the Government.

Answer--- PFMC is partially federally funded.  The grant we receive is a huge help but doesn’t even cover the payroll for the year.  PFMC is required to charge a fee for services in order to stay in compliance with the grant conditions.

They are only for the “poor” people.

Answer---We are open to anyone.  We do have a sliding scale discount that is offered to those who financially qualify. (less than 200% FPL)

You can't go there if you have insurance.

Answer---We accept most insurances.  If we do not have a contract with your insurance, we will attempt to contract with them.

PFMC is a Choctaw Nation facility.

Answer---Although we work very closely with the Choctaw Nation and other tribal entities, PFMC is not a tribal facility and does not receive any funding from any tribal entity.  All races and nationalities are welcome to use our services.
