The Neighborhood Blessing Box
This might look like any ordinary box, although a little misplaced in the Pushmataha Family Medical Centers parking lot in Clayton. But as the saying goes, it’s what’s on the inside that counts.
What is it?
Open it’s unlocked doors anytime, day or night, and you’ll find a pantry full of blessings - food, toiletries, whatever might benefit someone in need.
It’s called a Blessing Box and they're popping up across the country. Read more about it from NPR here.
The premise is simple. It’s for the community to take what they need and give when they can. No strings attached, all anonymous.
So spread the word and stop by to give or receive a blessing!
